1. Are you fluent in Korean?
- No. I've always said this and I am very vocal about the possibility of mistranslating some phrases. I'm currently studying Korean on my own and is planning to formally study it before the year ends, hopefully. I'm just trying to find the right schedule for me to start.
2. How did you learn Korean?
- Online. I just researched about it and studied on my own.
3. Are you going to translate comments about SNSD/Girls' Generation?
- No. Unless the comment is specifically mentioning Seohyun then, no. There are other people doing that already for the group so if that's what you're looking for, you're in the wrong blog, unfortunately. T^T
4. Why are you only translating comments about Seohyun?
- I'm a huge Seomate for 7 years. I'm not an akgae but I'm just a casual fan of the group post-9/30. I've noticed that there's a few sources for Seohyun-related news and this is my way of helping Seomates like me have source to the latest news/happening about her. (I still can't get over the fact that no one has subbed the quiz show where Seohyun won and that is my ultimate goal once I get better in Korean but for now, this is the most that I can T^T)
5. Are you working on this blog with someone or alone?
- Alone T^T That's why at times, I'm a bit late in translating or I don't even have the time to translate some.
6. Are you open to more translators?
- YES PLEASE!!! I still have a lot to learn and it would be nice to be accompanied by someone along the way. 😊 Just DM me at my Twitter account (@SeohyunBuzz) if you are interested in helping.
7. What are your plans (for this blog)?
- Well for now, all I want is to be able to update regularly especially that Bad Thief Good Thief is on-going (while I'm typing this). If there's a chance for me to further expand this blog's purpose, then I would gladly do so (for Joohyun ^^). But for now, I'll be sticking to translating comments.
8. What's your message to your readers?
- Thank you for the warm support fellow Seomates! I've read some of your comments and I'm glad that you guys appreciate this small gesture I'm doing. I will try to be more accurate post after post. Also, I apologize if I sometimes tweet too informal, it's just my fangirl feel that I can't contain. I'll try to be more professional (IDK if I can LOL). Let's keep supporting our wonderful bias! :)
